Danny was born and raised in Longlac. Linda moved here as a teenager. They hung around as teens. After college Linda moved back to Longlac and they married in 1987.
Four days after the wedding, they bought Danny's dad's bulk fuel business. They have owned and operated it for 23 years. During which time they had several other businesses.
Danny and Linda have two children. Ashley who is in college now, and Michel who is in his last year of high school. As a family, they love hunting, fishing, and camping.
One of their family outings is their annual trip to Nestor Falls, Ontario in the fall. Danny and Linda have been deer hunting for 20 years or so, with Danny's brothers and
their children as well as a few close family friends.In the last few years, Ashley and Michel have been going as well. It's a trip that everyone looks forward to all year long.
As a family they have hunted birds since the children were in diapers. They like to have both sides of their families together,in the bush, for a partridge stew on a nice fall afternoon.
Danny and Linda have hunted Moose also for about twenty years. Danny has been successful, but it took Linda until 2008 before she could say the same.
In the winter, their passion turns to ice fishing. This is done on the many lakes which surround them on a daily basis. They are avid outdoorsmen and are looking forward
to this next chapter in their lives.
